The Housing Authority Of Bay City lobby will be closed to the public effective Wednesday, March 18th.

The health and safety of our Tenants, and Communities are our highest priorities at Housing Authority Of Bay City. Like many of you, we are continuously monitoring the latest on the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak as reported by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

First and foremost, it is important to us that you know our promise to support you and our properties continues to stand firm. While we are all navigating an unprecedented situation, our team has been diligently and proactively taking the necessary steps to remain in a position to serve you since we first learned of the COVID-19 outbreak in China.

Below are the actions we have taken The Housing Authority Of Bay City to date to ensure the personal safety of our associates and customers, as well as the continuity of all business operations.

For clients going through the recertification process, please mail in documents to our office: 3012 Sycamore Avenue Bay City Texas 77414

Effective March 18, 2020

• Housing Authority Of Bay City Office will be closed to public. We will see tenants by appointments only. If you have an annual recertification appointment in the month of March, please call your Case manager to work out logistics. You may mail your recertification packet to address provided to you above. Please mail packets Certified Mail with Signature.
• Please put rent payments and other documents in night drop box
• Maintenance will perform Emergency Work Orders to include, Water, and Gas leaks, AC and heater repairs. Other W/O will be put on hold indefinitely.

In addition, the Bay City Housing Authority aims to promote personal, economic and social upward mobility to assist residents to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing and to provide an incentive to private property owners/landlords to rent to low income families offering timely assistance payments and excellent service.
