SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE OF MEETING BY TELEPHONE CONFERENCE:

In accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the Housing Authority Board Of Commissioners of Bay City, Texas will conduct a special board meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. by telephone conference in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). [There will be no public access to the location described above.]

The Bay City Housing Authority mission includes providing safe, decent, sanitary, and improved living conditions for every low-income family.


The Bay City Housing Authority promotes its mission through helping tenants maintain rent payments at an affordable level and by providing qualified tenants with an option for home ownership.


In addition, the Bay City Housing Authority aims to promote personal, economic and social upward mobility to assist residents to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing and to provide an incentive to private property owners/landlords to rent to low income families offering timely assistance payments and excellent service.
