Housing Programs

The Bay City Housing Authority's mission includes providing safe, decent, sanitary, and improved living conditions for low-income families and individuals.

Housing opportunities at Bay City Housing Authority are provided through the Public Housing (PH) program and Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously known as Section 8. Bay City Housing Authority currently manages 86 PH units and 270 HCVs and is not equipped for Emergency Housing.

The Waiting List for Public Housing (PH) is currently OPEN. We are taking applications at this time. If you would like to apply, please visit our How to Apply page. 

The Waiting List for Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously known as Section 8, is currently CLOSED. We are NOT taking applications at this time. For future status updates, please check our Waiting List (HCV) page.
